Promise

I promised my self that this would never happen again.
I promised myself never to hurt myself again.
I promised myself never to fall in love again.
I promised myself to stay alive for now at least.....

But then you walked into the picture and the whole thing changed,
I fell in love with someone I could never have.
I hurt myself thinking it was always my fault.
I blamed myself for you hurting.....

But in the whole time the only promise that was not broken, yet is that I am still alive...
